Conclusion

I cannot deny the truth that it is very harmful to our body. Despite the fact, there are many new type of Energy drinks that are constantly being produced and they are very attractive and inexpensive.
It is best not to drink energy drink, which seems impossible for some of people. If so, in my opinion, it is recommended to reduce drinking. Parents should put a break or ban drinking, children that are uncontrollable or teenagers. Also it would be a good idea not to sell energy drinks at school. In fact, it seems that many schools have already realized the potentially harmful consequences and not allowing energy drinks in school. Some of energy drinks, Monster and Rockstar as examples of drinks, banned in school sports competition. This is because of bad effects on student’s health and their game performances. When they drink it before the game, about halfway through, the rush would wear off and they would bottom out.
To conclude, Energy drinks should be controlled by adults for those who are young; however this is a matter of problem that we all should be in charge and take care of our own health.

drinking after exercise

Although you've probably seen energy drinks such as Red Bull being promoted at athletic events, or you've witnessed professional athletes drinking them however, high caffeine energy drinks don't go well with exercise.
It is true that drinking energy drinks are taking in more calories than they burn off through hard exercise and sports. Isn't this unfair and sad?
Walking a mile uses up an average 85 calories but a 500ml bottle of energy drink contains140 calories.
Energy drinks are just beverages that can simply stimulate your body and raise your energy for a short time. Long term effects of energy drinks might be dangerous. Reasons? Most sports drinks are not caffeinated but energy drinks are caffeinated very much. It is much better for you to drink sports drinks rather than energy drinks.

Energy drinks cause physical and mental problems

Energy drinks may cause severe physical and mental problems like  hypokalemia, hallucinations, rhabdomyolysis.
As I mentioned, Energy drinks contain too much caffeines. Drinks with the highest caffeine content should also warn of potential health dangers. Children with diabetes should be careful about drinking too many energy shots and some of the energy drinks contain sugars and other ingredients that could cause imbalances in their sugar and insulim levels.
Energy drinks typically contain other compounds that are also high in caffeine, such as guarana, yerba mate and cocoa. This will affect people badly, especially to young people.
In general, caffeine can disturb children's sleep, which can actually compound energy problems since sleep deprivation can make children even more listless and tired. If they have too much of it, this will  lead to mental problem.
Some of people insist that they have improved mental alertness, reaction times, and concentration with energy drinks, but this would last only for short moment and this can lead to addiction which their body get worse and worse.

Caffeine poisoning

Energy drinks are beverages that contain some form of vitamins and other chemicals which boosts your energy for very short span but can be dangerous due to the ingredients from which they are made of in comparison of those typical drinks that we all take. These energy drinks have lots of sugar and caffeine. The real problem is that Ingredients (I can say that Caffeine is the main active ingredient) in energy drinks used in these energy drinks can affect your heartbeat and blood pressure and this can lead to death.

Caffeine poisoning is not uncommon in the U.S. A study in the journal Pediatrics showed that anywhere from 30 percent to 50 percent of young adults and teens drink energy drinks. Nearly half of the 5448 reported caffeine overdoses in 2007 were in people younger than 19. Also TODAY reported that cases of caffeine poisoning have increased over the last few years, from 1,128 in 2005 to 13,114 in 2009.

This is because of the plenty of caffeine in energy drink. It is true that energy drinks have excessive amount of caffeine than soft drink , coffee or tea. For example, Two Monster energy drinks has about the same amount of caffeine as that found in 14 cans of Coca Cola and this is almost five times the recommended caffeine limit per day suggested by the Academy of Pediatrics.
